Dr. Birgit Schoeberl

Birgit Schoeberl is Vice President and Head of Data42 at Novartis. Data42 is Novartis’ enterprise R&D data and analytics platform designed to accelerate drug discovery and development through large-scale data integration. She has held leadership roles across biotech and pharma, with deep expertise in data science, AI/ML, and quantitative systems pharmacology. Prior to Novartis, she was SVP of Science Delivery at GNS Healthcare and a founding member of Merrimack Pharmaceuticals. She holds a PhD in Biological Engineering and completed postdoctoral training at MIT.
