Dr. Poncho Meisenheimer, PhD

Poncho Meisenheimer is Vice President of R&D at Promega Corporation and Director of Chemistry at the Usona Institute in Madison, Wisconsin. He leads multidisciplinary teams developing enabling technologies for drug discovery, including AI-integrated workflows and real-time target engagement assays. His work focuses on illuminating the “dark proteome” using advanced bioluminescent and BRET-based technologies. He has co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications and holds more than 40 issued U.S. patents.
